Surah Al-Imran verses 19-32 of the Quran state that the only true religion, way of life with Allah is Islam, warn against those who reject His signs and those who dispute based on envy after knowledge has come to them, and advise believers against seeking protection from disbelievers. The verses also emphasize following the Messenger, as Allah, the Exalted requires obeying him, and foretell a painful punishment for those who deny His revelations, kill the prophets, or turn away from His commandments. They conclude by stressing the importance of fearing Allah and remembering that He is compassionate to those who are devoted to Him.
